We want everyone to be able to plan and book a stay at Tee Pee Family Campground, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our goal for this website
Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, and we review the site regularly.
What we’ve done so far
- We checked the main pages (home, booking, checkout, contact, seasonal request, terms and privacy) in October 2026 with an automated accessibility checker, with the keyboard only, and on a phone-sized screen.
- We added text descriptions to the photos on our Photo Gallery, About Us and Contact pages.
- The date and camper pickers on the booking search work with a keyboard and a screen reader: press Enter on Check In, Check Out or Campers, use the arrow keys, and press Enter to choose.
- The View Details window moves keyboard focus into it, keeps it there, and closes with the Escape key.
- Every page has a “Skip to main content” link, and you can pinch to zoom on phones.
- Icon-only buttons and links have text names, light text was darkened, and the keyboard focus outline is easier to see.
- The checkout and seasonal request forms have a label on every field and mark the required ones.
- Card payments are entered on Authorize.net’s secure payment pages. If you’d rather not pay online, call us and we’ll take your reservation by phone.
- Our Terms, Privacy Policy and this page are written in plain language.
